Summer Sendoff &\; \;Backpack Giveaway \;at Ruby Dee Park

\n\nThis year&rsquo\;s Summer Send Off will feature activities for the family as well as the distribution of 3000 bookbags and supplies to school aged students. \;Businesses and Non-Profits are needed to help support this effort by securing school supplies to be placed in each bag\, and\, to help distribute these bags/supplies during the Summer Send Off.

\n\nBusinesses &\; Non-Profits - Supplies are Needed: \;
\n\nHere is the link to the list of supplies that we will be placing in each bag. \;https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ax-Khy0-elpBqSI-mQM93iRXz0CtnhKgDdhYXefFaR8/edit?usp=sharing. Please input the amount of supplies you will be providing. Please focus supplies for grades K-5. If you have already purchased supplies for grades 6-12\, we will happily add them to the bags we have allocated. \;IF you have branded materials (flyers\, pens\, water bottles\, etc) to include in all the bags (2k-3k) you may bring those items as well for inclusion.

\n\nDrop Off Donated Supplies:
\n\nWe are asking that ALL supplies be dropped off at City Hall no later than 4pm on Monday\, August 21.
\n\n\;
\n\nBag Stuffing Volunteers:
\n\nAugust 22-24\, we will be stuffing/packing supplies into all the bags (Tentative time is 2-5pm). Volunteers are needed.
\n\n\;
\n\nBag Distribution - \;Summer Send Off 8/26\, 1-4pm at Ruby Dee Park
\n\nFamilies will check in at entrance\, receive a ticket with the number of bag/ages\, and will be directed/received at one of the six organization stations. \;Families must bring proof of New Rochelle residence or school AND ALL students must be present in order to receive a bag/supplies.
