This week we mourn the passing of our former mayor, the Honorable Leonard C. Paduano, and extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Mayor Paduano served in office from 1980-1991. During his tenure, in 1987, New Rochelle was honored as one of the nation’s most “Livable Cities” by the US Conference of Mayors.
Mayor Ramos-Herbert on Tuesday has directed the City flag to be flown half-staff for seven days. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Lloyd Maxcy and Sons.
