Common Sense, The Story of Thomas Paine at NRPL
Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8 at 2 pm
Tutti Bravi Productions, in collaboration with the New Rochelle Public Library and the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, presents an original chamber opera "Common Sense: The Story of Thomas Paine." Written by John Taylor Thomas of New Rochelle, it centers on the influential life of the political activist, philosopher, writer and patriot who lived out his later years on his farm in New Rochelle. Included in this spirited production, some of the historical figures who gave birth to our country are also brought to life. Location: Ossie Davis Theater.
