Free. Banner submissions are accepted at no cost for eligible New Rochelle veterans. Donations to support the Hometown Heroes Banner Program are appreciated. Description
The members of New Rochelle Post 8 American Legion, in partnership with the City of New Rochelle, invite families to honor local veterans through the Hometown Heroes Banner Program.
The program recognizes New Rochelle veterans with commemorative banners displayed throughout the city. Banner submissions are free for eligible New Rochelle veterans.
To apply, complete the Hometown Heroes Banner Submission Form and include a photo of the veteran along with a copy of their DD-214/discharge papers, if available.
While there is no cost to participate, donations are welcomed to help support this meaningful community tribute.
