Description
International martial arts mega-star Jackie Chan directs and performs all of his own death-defying stunts in this hard-hitting and humorous action adventure classic!
Chan rocks the high seas as Dragon Ma, a determined coast guard officer on patrol in late 19th century Hong Kong. As he battles with departmental corruption as well as ruthless pirates in a seemingly never-ending struggle for control of the dangerous waters, you’ll be thrilled as Jackie literally throws himself into some of the most amazing movie stunts ever captured on film.
Librarian and film historian Chris Poggiali, co-author of These Fists Break Bricks: How Kung Fu Movies Swept America and Changed the World, will introduce and discuss the film.
