Raise Their Voices in Celebration
Celebrating Juneteenth at the Thomas Paine Cottage
Saturday, June 10th 5:30pm
Songcatchers and the Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Association partner on an early celebration of Juneteenth - Saturday - June 10th at 5:30-6 pm.
Our Songcatchers Choir will be giving a free concert - all choir members welcome! It is a free event with fun and informational activities happening on the grounds of Thomas Paine Cottage from 5:30. Come one and all!
We have exciting news! An addition to our Juneteenth celebration - Isaac Ahn will be singing Travel’s End by the famous African American composer, Florence Price. He debuted singing it at Juilliard for A Black History celebration.
He will be introducing Songcatchers Inc.. new vocal lessons this fall when he starts as a Volunteer youth teacher. We are thrilled to have him perform!
